Welcome Back-to-School!

August 2015

Greetings everyone and welcome back to school for the 2015-2016 school year. I am Ms. Bush-Corbitt, and it is my pleasure to serve as your, your child's, 4th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. I expect to have an awesome year as we work together to make this school year your best one yet. This website will help you remain aware of all that is happening in our class and school, so please visit daily to stay informed.

Additionally, I will be posting a new quote or saying each week that is related to the people we will be learning about in our Social Studies class. Students will be expected to know the quote or saying, as well as, explain the meaning of it, and they will express themselves accordingly in their journal and possibly on quizzes and tests. Finally, I am going to try to inlcude pictures and a link to a source so students can learn more about the person, or people, being quoted.

Remember, I am here for you.

Ms. Bush-Corbitt, Ed.S.

This is a beautiful picture of an area in the Arctic which is where the Inuit live. The saying is an Inuit proverb (wise saying-we will learn more about proverbs later this year). The following link is to a website that will give you more details about the Inuit.
